The Inspiration Behind the Ultimate Tangle Tamer

The sound of my child’s tears over a hopelessly tangled mess of hair is something that we as parents can’t avoid. That feeling of inadequacy when I had to teach them techniques to undo tangles in their hair is what drove me. All those moments of wasted time that could have been avoided were what struck me to make this invention.

In 2017, while partying with my friends, I shared these frustrations with them. Some, being creative and technical majors, gave me the idea to use magnets in order to create a brush that automatically rotates itself, allowing for a generally smoother experience.

Lo and behold, when trying it out with one of my children, it worked like clockwork, smoothing out their tangles in just 1, 2, 3! I couldn’t believe it either, but there was no other brush on the market I’ve seen like it, even though it works so well. The patented design created by this process is what I (and my kid!) would like to sell today for just $14.99, much in the range of some other brand name brushes out there. I would love to share the joys I have had while both creating and using the brush!
